You hire me. Put me to work.
I am the mechanic to the machine you live in.
“I have had sciatic issues for years. With his hammers, rods, weights, suction cups, and many other tools, Dr. Eric has manipulated my muscles so I can walk without pain. He is not just a chiropractor that does adjustments. He looks at a persons whole physical being to align it correctly. I cannot go without my monthly Dr. Eric fix!”
I’ll bring the skills and the tools, you bring the time. I can promise 100% on my end.
Some come for just the muscle therapy they haven’t found elsewhere. We start with the tool kit and your target area.
Chiropractic adjustment
A full spine adjustment is part of your visit if you want one. Drop table for the mid back, lower back and hips. Neck adjustments can be by hand, instrument or drop, whatever you’re comfortable with. Think of this as trying to straighten the frame.
Myofascial release
Working the material that covers everything. Think of a tight sweater. The reason is room — room to move, room for circulation, room for nerves to slide. TMJ symptoms, neck tightness and the headaches that come with them tend to love it, but I start here with most patients. Helps with wrist, elbow and knee stiffness too. Freeing the fascia is the goal but it impacts much more.
Body tempering
Weighted steel cylinders used across fascia and muscle. Reaches deep for compression and stretch of the tissues. Can also be used on end for precision. From shoulders, forearms, between the shoulder blades, lower back and of course the hamstrings, quads and calves.
Cupping
Suction instead of pressure. Static and sometimes dynamic movement. It allows for fluid movement and helps restore the natural circulation to the area. Often part of working neck and shoulder tightness, along with lower back pain.
Percussion therapy
Fast mechanical pulses into tight tissue. This in turn quiets the nerve and allows for increased range of motion. Helps modulate pain as well. Two of them, one lighter and one stronger, so it works anywhere on the body. Shoulders, hips, hamstrings, quads and calves get the most.
Hammer and punch
A manual percussion method meant for more precision without a vibration component. Flat and rounded ends allow for shallow and deep impulse to the muscles. Shoulders and between the shoulder blades are favorites.
Y-strap
By requestI use it for axial traction — a gentle stretching of the neck. This gives the muscles room, and more room where the nerves exit. I start every patient who requests it this way.
“I went to Achieve Chiropractic & Muscle Therapy because I was dealing with stiffness in my right shoulder and overall tightness throughout my body. From the start, Dr. Eric really listened to where I was tight and where I was lacking range of motion. It didn’t feel rushed or routine; it felt tailored. He went through what felt like his full toolbox, and every technique had a clear purpose.”
I love this work and I don’t rush it.
Twenty-three years of hands on people. Sherman College of Chiropractic, Summa Cum Laude, 2003. Before that, the U.S. Army — 3rd Battalion, 9th Field Artillery. Veteran-owned practice: one license, one pair of hands, the same person with you from start to finish.
Between the Army and chiropractic school came construction and managing retail stores — work that teaches you how to talk to anybody, not just people who already speak medical. I’ve also taught anatomy and physiology at the community college level, so I’ll explain what I’m doing while I do it.
